Here at Tabernacle of Faith Community Outreach Center we have been given a mandate to build the Lord's house, and to care for those who are homeless and hungry. Some may recall, the corner of 515 S. Road Street used to be known for its drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes. People used to lock their doors as they approached the traffic light. Through the power of God, Tabernacle of Faith was able to turn 515 S. Road Street from a haven of despair and addiction, to a haven of safety for homeless women and children. It has become a shelter of hope and a beacon of light for women who want to change their lives. It has become a safe environment in which people can walk, as well as drive through. Businesses are moving into this part of the neighborhood because we were able to help clean up that corner.
