CHOC OUTREACH CLINICS (OUTREACH) PROVIDES ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR LOW INCOME AND UNDER OR UNDERINSURED CHILDREN TO THE COMMUNITIES LOCATED TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF ORANGE COUNTY. THE INTENT IS TO INTERVENE AT THE EARLIEST STAGES TO EDUCATE FAMILIES ABOUT APPROPRIATE MEDICAL CARE AND TO TREAT ILLNESSES AND INJURIES. THE CLINIC IS LOCATED IN A LOW INCOME NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE LANGUAGE OF THE LOCAL FAMILIES IS SPOKEN BY EMPLOYEES OF THE PROGRAM.
